Drugstore Shampoos

I feel as though we've been talking a lot about shampoo lately, and I would just like to thrown in an additional comment.
I'm kind of a shampoo snob, i.e. my favorites are Aquage, Sudzz FX, Matrix, Halo, etc, which, unfortunately, are all expensive. So to offset the expense, I like to have a nice drugstore shampoo in my shower at all times. Sunsilk Hydra TLC is my favorite. It makes my hair so soft! And I really can't resist the scent. I love it. So if you're in the market for a cheap but effective shampoo, give this a try! What is everyone else's favorite drugstore shamp?

My favorite has to be the Infusium 23 Frizzologie. I have wavy hair and I need the conditioner to be heavy enough to keep it under control. I have yet to find a better conditioner. I generally stick to this or the Dove dark blue bottle repair conditioner. I have found that I can't really experiment to far from these.

susan, had i known you liked the the light pink nutri vive, i would've sent you off with my half bottle of shampoo/conditioner. i can't get rid of it, and it does terrible things to my hair. makes it kinda sticky. maybe it was designed for curly/wavy hair. although maybe it's just me, because this product has won some serious accolades, "best conditioning treatment 2007" - American Cheerleader magazine.

when i was home last weekend, i went to buy the nutri vive pro hydra gloss. maybe it was because of the penelope cruz ads, but i went into target looking for this. i was hesitant due to my experience with the last nutri - something, but i figured it deserved a second chance. loreal is a brand i know and trust. from the two washings i've had with this shampoo, it was fantastic. nice, soft scent and it made my hair feel soft. shiny? not sure, but definitely soft.

but i would have to say my favorite drugstore shampoo is dove moisture therapy, hands down. lindsey, i know you've always thought of this as heavy or as your sister's shampoo, but i really just love it. the scent, the softness, the simple bottle, just everything about it. the two other shampoos/conditioners that are close runner-ups are matrix smooth and sleek, and herbal essences hello hydration which make my hair extra manageable. they're both a little wintery to me, but that's ok since that's when i'm looking for that extra softness. the scents on these two are also great.
