I can't imagine anything worse than Eat Pray Love the book...now I know.

how horrible. i think i know why i hate the book/movie, having not even seeing it. its the "get out there and travel! have an adventure, discover YOURSELF" thing that gets on my nerves. also, bad idea jeans, best skit ever.

yeah, everybody these days feels entitled/tempted to leave behind their boyfriend/spouse/kids, get out there and travel (to a third-world country) (where you do yoga), and meet your TRUE SOULMATE.

how gullible are american women??!?!

did you see julia and oprah's interview on the film? as a person with a vomit phobia, it made me want to throw up in my mouth.

also, what does "eat" smell like? pesto sauce?

julia & oprah make everyone want to barf. they're bffs! i always love it when oprah asks about julia's family too, it's like "honest guys! i really know her!"

i don't want to dedicate a whole post to this movie, but it's like a warzone out there. the way they are marketing this movie is INSANE. Home shopping network recently devoted 3 whole days to products "inspired" by the movie - 1 day for eat, 1 day for pray, etc. They were really stretching after eat, but IT WAS SO CRAZY I COULDN'T LOOK AWAY.

hmmm...what do i feel like today...hmmm...oh, yes, "eat"! *sprays it on.

yeah, apparently the movie experience really changed julia, she's a buddhist now, right? lets face it westerners, the easterners are just way more 'spiritually in touch' than us.
